Brookdale Senior Living Reaches Engagement Technology Milestone

DENVER, CO – April 11, 2017 – It’s Never 2 Late, the leader in providing person-centered engagement, content and technology solutions for today’s seniors, announced that Brookdale Senior Living has exceeded over 5 million hours of usage with their iN2L systems. Called the InTouch Program, Brookdale uses the It’s Never 2 Late systems in all Clare Bridge communities serving those with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

InTouch by iN2L offers an innovative technology program designed for those with physical and cognitive limitations. “Technology solutions open up the world to our residents, providing opportunities to explore their interests, connect to family and friends, and be challenged with new learning,” said Juliet Holt Klinger, senior director of Dementia Care and Programs at Brookdale Senior Living. “We could not be happier with iN2L’s ability to reach and engage our residents living with dementia in new and innovative ways.” Holt Klinger said. The iN2L systems have been in place in the Clare Bridge settings, (Brookdale’s Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care program), for over four years and the average usage is around 6-7 hours per day. “The systems help us to engage residents in so many different ways; we travel virtually to new places, we connect residents with their past, and we learn about new cultures. Who would have thought that our residents with dementia would be the ‘early adopters’ of technology in our communities? I love it that the InTouch program dispels the myths that folks living with dementia can’t grow or learn new things.” Holt Klinger added.
