Our last product update blog marked a significant innovation milestone, with the introduction of our first artificial intelligence (AI) solution. This quarter, we’re continuing that momentum with another AI-enhanced release designed to streamline operations and enrich resident experiences.
AI-enhanced Resident Onboarding: personalizing the resident experience
Senior living communities often face several challenges when onboarding new residents. The process of transcribing recorded interviews or taking manual notes can be time-consuming, inconsistent, and may not fully capture resident preferences.
AI-enhanced Resident Onboarding transforms this process by automatically capturing and organizing resident interests and biographical details from recorded interviews. Staff can conduct interviews directly within the platform or upload pre-recorded audio files. The AI then transcribes the recording and generates a detailed resident profile, complete with biographical information, likes, and dislikes.
This automation reduces manual data entry by 95%, saving staff valuable time. By storing resident information in a centralized database, it also ensures that all staff members, regardless of turnover, have access to the same rich resident information. As a result, new hires can quickly get up to speed on resident preferences, leading to more personalized engagement. Additionally, the platform intelligently identifies residents with shared interests, making it easier to foster meaningful connections and enhance community bonding.
One of the most powerful aspects of AI-enhanced Resident Onboarding is its seamless integration with AI-enhanced Calendar Management. As resident preferences are captured during onboarding, they automatically inform the Activity Generator, allowing it to suggest personalized activity recommendations tailored to each resident’s unique interests. This means staff can effortlessly curate personalized, meaningful programming without added administrative burden.
By creating multiple solutions that work seamlessly together, this most recent AI enhancement exemplifies our commitment to continuous value. We’re not just solving isolated challenges—we’re building a holistic, connected platform that saves time, enhances efficiency, and ultimately delivers a more personalized and enriching resident experience.
New resident list filters: streamline resident management and enhance engagement
Beyond our AI enhancements, our product and development teams have been focused on refining our solutions with new features that add value and reduce friction for our users.
One of these improvements is our new filtering capabilities, which make it easier for staff to manage resident information efficiently. Staff can now filter residents who have attended one or more activities in the past week, only personal activities in the past week, or only community activities in the past week, enabling staff to take proactive steps to foster engagement and reduce isolation.
In the pipeline, resident filters will also include upcoming birthdays, making it simpler for staff to plan celebrations; sort residents by room number for quicker access to information during rounds or check-ins; and identify residents without family connections, helping staff take steps to foster connections.
These new filters help staff streamline workflows, personalize interactions, and enhance the overall resident experience.
Display Device List for enterprise users: improve efficiency with centralized monitoring
Monitoring and managing display equipment across multiple communities has historically been a challenge, especially when Firestick devices require re-registration after brief inactivity. This often led to operational disruptions.
With the new centralized monitoring feature, enterprise users can now quickly identify inactive devices across communities. Support teams can also view all inactive devices across accounts, helping to reduce device downtime. This enhancement not only improves operational efficiency but also enhances the resident and family experience by ensuring digital communication tools remain active when staff most need them.
Copy Weekly Summary: streamline communication across multiple locations
Multi-site operators expressed a need for a more efficient way to communicate across multiple communities. Previously, they had to send weekly summary messages separately to each location and level of care—a time-consuming and repetitive process.
With this new feature, users can now select multiple communities when composing a Weekly Summary email. This eliminates redundant work, ensures consistency in messaging, and helps leadership maintain clear, streamlined communication across all locations.
Canadian holidays now available: save time and foster meaningful celebrations
With LifeLoop’s expansion into Canada, including our recent partnership with Seasons Retirement Communities, we’ve enhanced our calendar management solution to better serve our Canadian partners. Previously, staff had to manually add Canadian holidays to their calendars, a time-consuming step that other competing solutions automated.
Now, our Canadian communities can take advantage of pre-populated national and religious holidays, making it easier to plan celebrations and community-wide events. This update not only saves staff time but also ensures that residents can connect over meaningful holidays and traditions.
