The State of Resident Engagement in 2025

Resident engagement has become a core business priority for Senior Living operators. Meaningful engagement is foundational to person-centered care and for decades it has been effective when it comes to improving the health and well-being of residents and financial health of communities. And yet, it remains the least managed side of senior living operations today. During this session, Charles de Vilmorin from LifeLoop will analyze exclusive research findings in resident engagement, share best practices from industry leaders, and outline strategies for implementing the "social prescription" model.

Participants will gain insights on operationalizing wellness programs and use tools such as Strength, Weakness, Opportunities & Threat (SWOT) tools to prepare for market shifts toward value-based care. The part of the discussion includes community-wide strategy and provider alignment and partnership as Charles is joined by Ashlea Smalley, National Director of Life Enrichment and Memory Care, Grace Management, Inc. to explore how to successfully use the SWOT tool in organizations.
