Recognizing communities that shine
We kicked off the year by celebrating excellence in senior living with our third annual Communities That Shine Awards. This year’s recipients demonstrated remarkable ingenuity, using LifeLoop’s solutions to deliver exceptional resident experiences and streamline processes to promote staff efficiency.
Following the awards season, we launched our Flourishing Communities webinar series, where we interviewed some of the award winners to learn more about their best practices for creating environments where their staff, residents and families thrive.
Expanding analytics capabilities
We continued the customer success momentum by channeling the insights we gained from 2023 into innovative solutions to our customers’ needs. This effort led to the launch of LifeLoop Insights, our advanced data and analytics platform.
LifeLoop Insights empowers senior living operators with the ability to analyze and optimize community performance using real-time, actionable data. This innovation has delivered significant results, enabling proactive decision-making that enhances staff efficiency and creates positive resident experiences.
Welcoming Rob Fisher to the team
In another exciting development, we welcomed Rob Fisher as our new CEO in April. Rob not only brings a wealth of experience and acumen to LifeLoop, with over two decades of experience growing healthtech companies; he also embodies LifeLoop’s core values, leading with empathy and transparency. His leadership has already begun shaping our strategies for delivering even greater value to our customers and partners.
Publishing our annual industry report
In May, we released the fifth installment of our Senior Living Tech Report, a comprehensive analysis of the industry’s evolving trends, shifting priorities, and the critical role technology plays in overcoming operator challenges. This year’s report reflects months of rigorous research, including input from senior living leaders across operators of all sizes. By capturing diverse perspectives, the report provides actionable insights for executives at multi-site organizations and smaller communities alike, helping them navigate an ever-changing senior living landscape.
Expanding through acquisition
July marked another major milestone as we announced the acquisition of Linked Senior. This strategic move expanded our resident engagement capabilities, allowing us to further enhance the experience of older adults in senior living communities. By integrating Linked Senior’s offerings with our platform, we’re setting the stage for an even brighter future in resident engagement.
Strengthening partnerships and earning recognition
Throughout the year, we forged impactful partnerships with leading senior living operators, including Cogir, Morningstar, New Perspective Senior Living, and Grace Management. Many of our partners have expanded their use of LifeLoop across their entire portfolio—one even scaling to 80 communities—after initially implementing our solutions in select locations. This growth reflects their trust in us as partners and their commitment to collaboration and shared success.
Our partnership with Grace Management was particularly noteworthy, earning us McKnight’s Innovator of the Year Award. The award was based on the outcomes of a year-long research study conducted by our in-house Researcher, Dr. Lydia Nguyen, and Grace Management National Director of Memory Care and Life Enrichment, Dr. Ashlea Smalley, to measure the impact of technology on Grace Management’s key business objectives. The findings highlighted the ROI LifeLoop delivers, emphasizing how strategically implemented solutions can drive meaningful improvements and lasting benefits for senior living communities.
Celebrating our legacy and embracing the future
As the year drew to a close, we celebrated a significant milestone: our 25th anniversary as an organization. This moment was made even more special with a celebration at the LeadingAge National conference, where we honored our journey and the impact we’ve made in the senior living industry.
At the same event, we introduced AI-enhanced Calendar Management, our first solution powered by artificial intelligence. This launch marked the debut of our broader AI vision and strategy, positioning AI as a connector rather than a disruptor. Our approach focuses on seamlessly integrating AI-driven enhancements into daily workflows to enrich the resident and staff experience while simplifying the adoption process.
This launch marks the beginning of a broader AI strategy aimed at revolutionizing senior living workflows. Over the coming year, we’ll roll out additional AI-powered solutions, including AI-enhanced Resident Onboarding and AI-enhanced Resident Engagement. These innovations aim to streamline staff operations, build comprehensive resident profiles, and deliver personalized programming that enhances the lives of older adults.
